About the Host

M (Martha Duffey) is the voice behind This Is M — a teacher at heart with a deep love for Scripture, discipleship, and helping believers grow confident in studying the Bible for themselves.

With decades of experience serving in church life, M brings both wisdom and humility to conversations about faith, discipleship, and church culture. Her teaching is shaped by a lifelong walk with Christ, a formal education in Biblical Studies and Church Leadership, and years spent mentoring believers at every stage of life.

M holds a degree in Biblical Studies and Church Leadership from Central Christian College of the Bible, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is a certified Precept Ministries leader, a certified Biblical Counselor, and an ordained minister through Christian Global Outreach Ministries.

Raised in the church from a young age and shaped by Christian education from childhood through college, M has served in ministry for over 30 years. Her experience spans children’s ministry, youth leadership, women’s ministry, discipleship programs, conference leadership, teaching mixed adult classes, and walking alongside families and young parents.

Through This Is M, M steps beyond the walls of the local church to connect with the broader Body of Christ. Her heart is to create a space where faith is thoughtful, Scripture is studied carefully, and believers are encouraged to grow — not just in knowledge, but in obedience and freedom.

This is not a podcast about perfection. It’s an invitation to learn, to listen, and to walk faithfully together.
